Tova is the author of two novels. The Ladies Auxiliary, published by W. W. Norton in 1999, was a national bestseller, a two-time selection of Book Sense 76 and a selection of Barnes and Noble's Discover Great New Writer's Program. The Outside World, her second novel, will be published in 2004 by Alfred A. Knopf. An excerpt from The Outside World, entitled "A Poland, a Lithuania, a Galicia," was published in 2003 as part of the anthology Lost Tribe: Jewish Fiction from the Edge, edited by Paul Zakrzewski and published by HarperCollins. Tova's writing has also been anthologized in 110 Stories: New York Writes After September 11, edited by Ulrich Baer and published by New York University Press. |
